Driver trial

Join the EVA trial

Help us test a system that warns drivers when an emergency vehicle is heading their way.

You will get an app on your phone that stays quiet almost all of the time. When an emergency vehicle is genuinely coming down the road you are on, it tells you which direction it is coming from and how long you have — usually before you could hear the siren.

Your name

Email *

This is where your app invitation is sent, so it needs to be one you check.

Mobile number

Optional. Only used if we cannot reach you by email.

Roads you drive most

Optional, but genuinely useful — the trial works best where volunteers drive the same roads the emergency vehicles do.

Your trial code

What happens next:

We email you an invitation to install the app. This can take a day or two.
Install it and open it once — it works straight away.
Enter your trial code in the app's settings. That is what connects your sign-up to your phone, so we can help if something goes wrong.

What we do with this. Your name, email and phone are used to send you the app invitation and to contact you about the trial. They are stored separately from anything your phone reports, and are never included in our system logs. We do not share them with anyone outside the trial. Ask us at any time and we will delete them — your app keeps working if you want it to.

Before you sign up, please read what EVA collects and what it does not — Privacy Policy (sections 1 and 3 are the ones that matter) and the Terms of Use. Signing up means you accept both.
